Investigate one of the most haunted places in America with PRS for the entire weekend!

AN EVENT HELD BY THE PRS BUREAU.

PRS and The PRS Bureau will be investigating The Malvern Manor in Iowa November 30th - December 3rd.  Named one of the most haunted places in America and recently featured on "Paranormal Lockdown," the 29-room location will play host for PRS' first investigation in years.  Whether you're a novice or seasoned investigator, you'll be a part of a full PRS investigation.  Attendees will arrive on either Thursday or Friday.  You'll be assigned into one of the research teams (interviewing, tech, historical research or spirit communication/experimentation).  And just like a PRS investigation, there'll be case meetings, tech review, Dead Time and more.  The investigation will be partly documented and results will be shared via The PRS Bureau site.  Our goal is to uncover the growing mysteries of the Manor.

You'll be able to sleep within the manor every night.  The investigation doesn't stop.  There will be breakout workshops and discussions, social bonding time and more.

Participate in a Real Investigation

The MALVERN MANOR will serve as a real, full PRS investigation.  We will conduct interviews with eye witnesses, perform historical research, set up our tech arsenal and run spirit communication experiments throughout the investigation.

Whether or not you're a seasoned investigator, you'll be able to help contribute to this case and help us uncover some mysteries within the Manor.

Help Us Uncover New Mysteries of The Manor

Built in the 1880's, the 29-room, 10,000 square feet manor was originally the towns first hotel.  There are at least a few deaths confirmed at the hotel.  Visitors from all over the country have flocked to check out the manor, and in the winter of 2017, "Paranormal Lockdown" traveled to investigate the manor.

Attendees will have free roam within the hotel.  Mutually deciding on investigation tactics to use, the 72-hour or 48-hour investigation (depending on which ticket you choose to get) will be non-stop.  Attendees are free to spend the night in the manor each night.

"Our goal is to conduct a real investigation with our guests," said PRS Co-Director Ryan Buell.  "This place is known to be very active.  I have no interest in going anywhere with a few dozen people if it isn't active.  And the reports I've read about this place suggest it will be very intense."

Frequently Asked Questions

email us at society@the-prs.org for questions

I'm not an experienced paranormal investigator.  Is this for me?

You do not need to be an experienced investigator to enjoy this investigation event.  It is for novices and seasoned investigators, alike.

I'm coming by myself and I don't know anyone.  I'm afraid of not fitting in.

Everyone started out just like you.  But please know that you'll be amongst like-minded people, and it is VERY easy to make friends.  We are all sharing in an adventure together.  A unique life experience during this 3-day event.  You will have a good time as long as you have a good attitude about you.

What accommodations are available?

You are welcome to stay overnight in the manor every night.  However, the manor does not yet have a working shower or tub.  Nor does it have enough beds for 30 people.  You are encouraged to bring your own sleeping gear if you wish to spend the night.  There are some beds, couches, and other sleeping gear will be provided for those who may forget.

There are hotels nearby and we will post that info soon.

Will food be provided during the investigation?

Food is not included in the investigation.  However, some investigation attendees are already collaborating on bringing and preparing food for the event.  We invite you to link up with other fellow attendees on the official Facebook page for the group (click here). There is also a restaurant right across the street from the manor.

Just what kind of activity is being reported at the manor?

Apparitions, moving objects, voices... the works.  We invite you to do some research into the manor before you arrive.  Obviously, once we are there we will begin conducting a full investigation, and that includes talking to eye witnesses and looking through historical documents.

Is alcohol permitted on site?

Alcohol is NOT permitted on site.  We understand that, as adults, we like to unwind, but we do not encourage any use of anything that might alter the mind during the investigation.  If you are staying off-site, obviously you are welcome to socialize with others.  Please do not come to the event inebriated.
