This is video from last year’s Malvern Manor investigation. We prepared for Dead Time by shutting down the lights and dividing up the teams.

JOIN US FOR A 2 OR 3 NIGHT INVESTIGATION OF THE NOTORIOUSLY HAUNTED MALVERN MANOR!

AN EVENT HELD BY PRS ENTERTAINMENT LLC.

With the days darkening and the year coming to a close, PRS will once again host its annual investigation event at The Malvern Manor. For three nights, PRS and guest investigators (that’s you) will come together to explore every corner of the manor. A former hotel and group home with too many tragedies to count, the Manor has quickly become a favorite spot for PRS and investigators around the world.

The event is modeled after PRS’ three-day investigation structure. Talking to eye witnesses, setting up tech, conducting Dead Time and more. Like last year, guests will arrive on either Thursday or Friday and will have the option of spending the night.

This year, we’ll be adding a few additions. Since this event is near the holidays, we’ll be hosting a haunted holiday dinner within the manor. We’ll also be conducting a historical re-enactment. For those volunteering, we’ll be assigning roles to play either patient or staff, to see if it raises the energy for the investigation on that night.

Our annual event at the manor is a mixture of an investigation, social experiment and an all-around fun time. We hope you’ll join us. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to e-mail us at society@the-prs.org .

SOME HIGHLIGHTS ABOUT THIS EVENT

IMG_1483.jpeg

Explore The Manor 24/7 During the Event.

We will have the entire manor on lockdown for the entire weekend. Stay down in the Shadow Man hallway, perform the Gansfeld Experiment, perform a spirit communication session in the attic and more!

Every night, we will conduct Dead Time starting at 11pm. For those staying overnight at the manor, you are welcome to investigate for as long as you’d like.

Last year, guest investigators discovered new information about the Manor. Guests will be encouraged to check out the library in town to look up the history of the Manor and talk with some of the towns people about their first-hand experiences and memories of the Manor.

Good Ol Festivities Activities.

One of the best things about PRS events is how easy it is to make new friends. People from all walks of life (and geographical locations) travel to our events. The tiny town around Malvern has a personality as well. There’s a local restaurant across the street where we haunt on a regular basis during our events there.

We’ll be hosting a holiday dinner on Saturday evening.

Special Activities During This Year’s Event.

We will have a few guest speakers for this year’s annual investigation event.

We’ll also be broadcasting PARANORMAL TWITCH at the manor on Thursday evening, which will serve as both entertainment and an investigation experiment. Guests will be invited to play a series of psychologically disturbing video games to see if it raises the energy (similar to the 100 Candles Game theory).

On Saturday evening, we will be conducting a special investigation experiment, a role-playing session where some will act as patients and other as medical staff.

We will also be taking a day trip to THE VILLISCA AXE MURDER HOUSE!

MALVERN, IOWA 51551

 Directions & Travel Information

The Nearest Airport: Is the Omaha, Nebraska airport (OMA), located just a few miles from downtown Omaha, Nebraska. From there, it’s about a 30-minute drive to Malvern, Iowa.

If you're looking to carpool with other attendees, you'll be able to link up with others either via the Event Facebook Page or The PRS Bureau event page.

LODGING INFORMATION

Overview: Attendees are welcome to stay at the Malvern Manor. However, it’s import to know that there aren’t any working showers. There is one bathroom and a kitchen. Last year, attendees grouped together to get a hotel room to shower in. There are space heaters for the common/sleeping rooms. But you’ll need to bring your own sleeping gear to the manor. We recommend blow-up mattresses, blankets and pillows. There is a Wal-Mart about half-an-hour away. There are also hotels within a half-hour radius from the Manor, in Council Bluffs, Iowa and near Omaha. Keep in mind that Malvern is near the Nebraska border, so it’s not too far from Omaha.

Roommates: If you choose to stay at the manor, yes you’ll have roommates. There are about three rooms where attendees sleep in. The main living room, the tech room (which is quite large) and the kitchen.

Frequently Asked Questions

email us at society@the-prs.org for questions

I'm not an experienced paranormal investigator.  Is this for me?

You do not need to be an experienced investigator to enjoy this investigation event.  It is for novices and seasoned investigators, alike.

I'm coming by myself and I don't know anyone.  I'm afraid of not fitting in.

Everyone started out just like you.  But please know that you'll be amongst like-minded people, and it is VERY easy to make friends.  We are all sharing in an adventure together.  A unique life experience during this 3-day event.  You will have a good time as long as you have a good attitude about you.

Are We Allowed To Bring Paranormal Investigation Equipment? Yes.  We encourage this.

Is alcohol permitted on site?

No. Save that for off-site, please.

Is drug use permitted on site?

Are you kidding?

What do I need to bring to be comfortable at this event?

Definitely pack something warm. There are areas within the manor that will be cold at night. If you’re spending the night or multiple nights within the manor, see above. A flashlight is good.

How haunted is the manor?

It’s fairly active. Last year, we had some non-believers attend who became believers in paranormal activity after the event was done. Although nothing can be guaranteed, one of the reasons people go to the Malvern Manor is because of its reputation of being very active. There have been some frightening experiences. But that’s why PRS takes a very hands-on approach with attendees and guest investigators to make sure they understand their experience and feel safe walking out.
